Another good fresh cherry pie recipe..... try this !

FRESH CHERRY PIE RECIPE INGREDIENTS

* 4 cups ground cherries, husked
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 teaspoons tapioca
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1 lemon, juiced
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

FRESH CHERRY PIE RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. First of all Gently mix together the ground cherries, sugar, tapioca, flour and lemon juice. Let stand
for 15 minutes.
2. Ad then Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a 9 inch pie pan with half of the
pastry.
3. Next is to Pour the fruit mixture into the pastry-lined pan, and dot the top with the butter. Cover with
top crust or lattice.
4. Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for another 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
The fresh cherry pie is ready to serve...great tasting pie !

Fresh Cherry Pie Recipes Ingredients

* 1/4 cup margarine
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3/4 cup rolled oats
* 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 3 tablespoons water
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted

Fresh Cherry Pie Recipes INSTRUCTIONS :

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, cream together margarine, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in oats, flour and water. Then press mixture into 9 inch pie pan. In a medium bowl, stir together the cherries and sugar. Pour into the crust.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until crust is golden brown..and the fresh cherry pie is ready to serve..enjoy it !

FRESH CHERRY PIE RECIPE INGREDIENTS

* 2 cups pitted cherries
* 2 cups blueberries, rinsed and drained
* 1 1/4 cups white sugar
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon butter
* 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

FRESH CHERRY PIE RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix sugar, flour, and cinnamon in large bowl. Add fruit. Add lemon juice, and stir well.
2. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Dot with the butter or margarine. Cover with top crust
and flute edges. Cut small slits in the top.
3. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 1 hour. I put a baking sheet under mine to catch any liquid that might bubble over.
The fresh cherry blueberry pie is ready to serve....hmm...great taste ! Enjoy it !

* 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
* 4 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup white sugar
* 4 cups pitted cherries
* 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/2 tablespoons butter


FRESH CHERRY PIE RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Place bottom crust in piepan. Set top crust
aside, covered.
2. In a large mixing bowl combine tapioca, salt, sugar, cherries and extracts. Let stand 15 minutes. Turn out into bottom crust and dot with butter. Cover with top crust, flute edges and cut vents in top. Place pie on a foil lined cookie sheet --- in case of drips!
3. Bake for 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.

Fresh Cherry Pie Recipe INGREDIENTS
  • 1 c sugar
  • 3 2/3c flour
  • 1/8t salt
  • 2/3c liquid from cherries
  • 1/4t almond extract
  • 1/8t red food coloring
  • fresh red cherries
  • 2tb butter
  • 1 egg yolk

Fresh Cherry Pie Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 425. Make pie shell, using your favorite recipe. Com- bine sugar, flour and salt; stir into cherry liquid in saucepan. Bring to boiling, stirring. Reduce heat and simmer 5 min; mixture will be thickened Add almond extract and food coloring. Add fresh cherries; refrigerate. Roll half of pastry on lightly floured surface, fit into 9" pie pan. Pour cooled fresh cherry filliing into pie shell; dot with butter. Roll the other half of pastry to fit over top, with an overhang of 1". Make several cuts edges and flute. Lightly brush top with egg yolk beaten with 1 T water. Bake 35-40 min un- til golden. Serve slightly warm...and the fresh cheery pie is ready to serve..enjoy it !

Lattice Fresh Cherry Pie

Fresh Cherry Pie Recipe INGREDIENTS
  • 4 c Sour red cherries - pitted*
  • 1 1/2c Sugar substitute - Splenda
  • 1/4c Cornstarch
  • 1tb Lemon juice
  • 1/4t Almond extract
  • 1tb Margarine
Fresh Cherry Pie Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
In large bowl, combine fresh cherries, sugar substitute, cornstarch, lemon juice
famous chef recipes for pumpkin pie and almond extract. Let stand 15 minutes. Line 9-inch pie plate with half the pastry. Stir fresh cherry mixture; pour into pie plate. Dot with margarine. Cut remaining pastry into 1/2-inch strips. Weave strips on top of fresh cherry filling in lattice fashion. Trim ends of strips even with edge of bottom crust. Flute edge. Bake at 450F. on lowest oven rack for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling. (If necessary, cover edge of pie with foil to prevent overbrowning.) Cool on rack. *To use frozen sour cherries, thaw slightly and use the juice. To use canned sour cherries, use 2 19 oz. cans unsweetened cherries. Reserve 1/4 cup juice. The fresh cherry pie recipe is ready to serve..enjoy it ~!
